From Kulaifornia to California - The Grauman's Chinese Theatre

Salam...

Facing the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel is where the Grauman's Chinese Theatre located and what is interesting about this place is that besides the cinema it is where the hand and foot prints of those famous stars in the entertainment business as we saw it in the television in the concrete of the theatre's forecourt.
The front entrance of the theatre.
...and of course me in front of the entrance. :-)
The attraction at the theatre's forecourt - the hand and foot prints .
Could you find Darth Vader and Stormtrooper in the picture?
Minutes before the movie began.
We managed to catch a movie (Red Tails : Not bad for a war movie by the way) when we were there and three days before we left for Malaysia, we saw Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Vanessa Hudgens attending their film premier Journey 2 : The Mysterious Island here in front of our very eyes!

From Kulaifornia to California - Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Salam...

It has been almost two weeks since my Hollywood trip with my partner-in-crime roaming and wandering around the district.

Throughout the week-long trip we stayed at Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel which was fine on the whole in my opinion and the good thing was we were being surrounded by a number of fascinating attractions which were just walking distance.
Marilyn Monroe used to accommodate this hotel and  is said to be haunted by her spirit.
One of the many attractions we experienced was the "Hollywood Walk Of Fame" located at the Hollywood Boulevard which we from this part of the world use to notice on the television. These stars are meant to commemorate the achievement of many people in the entertainment industry from actors, singers to producers.
There were thousands of this stars embedded in the sidewalks of Hollywood Boulevard.
My partner-in-crime with her favourite.
...... and her another favourite.
My favourite - that guy Vincent Mancini from The Godfather part III.
My all time favourite!!! ......how I wish I am him. :-)
All in all, we were there and we really had fun!!! Hell yeah!!!

As for the case, experiencing this how true the Malay proverb says "Harimau mati meninggalkan belang, manusia mati meninggalkan nama." Literal translation : Tigers die leaving their stripes (of their fur) or level of its terror, but humans die leaving their names (reputation). So, live life to the fullest!

A History Made In Hollywood

Salam...

Frankly speaking, throughout the eighteen years spending my life working as a human resource practitioner, this should be the best ever recognition I have ever received so far.

So, on the recently second day of February, celebrated in a grand dinner set in Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, Hollywood, Los Angeles and hosted by my company's President, another history was made in my career life.

And the award goes to.........
Me!!!
Hell yeah!!!
...with my partner in crime.
All in all, a special shout-out to all the people who I am working and have worked with and you know who you are and especially to my partner in crime for being my most loyal staff till to date and it is fifteenth this year, thank you and love you always!

As for the case, who says human resource is boring? Hell yeah!!! :-)
