Most of us might not know that beginning from the 21st until the 24th of July 2011, ISTAF (International Sepaktakraw Federation) is organizing its first ever Sepaktakraw World Cup currently held in Kuala Lumpur comprising of 24 men's teams and 12 women's teams.

For you to know, at this moment, in men's category, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar and Singapore had qualified for the semi-final, while in the women's category, Malaysia, Thailand, China and Vietnam shall be plying their trade next.

All in all, in my very own opinion, sepaktakraw is a beautiful and a unique game. The game itself too has made who I am today, got to travel to so many places and most of all to understand the real meaning of victory and defeat.
As in my case, my wife said that before we got married, each time she saw me doing that acrobatic thing called "lipat", the stronger she adored and admired me. To be honest, I never knew about it only until last night and never realized as well that playing sepaktakraw could actually woo girls. Ha..ha..ha.. :-)
