The Toilet Bowl Incident

Salam...

I guess most of us would have experienced at least once in a lifetime when unexpectedly our precious belonging dropped into the toilet bowl. Seeing and knowing our belongings slipped "gracefully" from our grip and straight into the toilet bowl ultimately evolve a mixed feeling in us. Of such incident, our emotion would be so that frustrated, regretted, felt stupid, etc. and it was some kind of an unexplainable feeling as if the world has come to an end. :-)

Next, after such incident, we would be at a juncture of a dilemma asking ourselves should we pick it out of the bowl or should we not? It was a tough situation as we were in the midst of making a business decision that determines its fate.

 

Me....? I am not clumsy but a kind of a butterfingers. :-) Some of my belongings that dived beautifully into the public toilet bowl with some a perfect 10 score.

...in one incident, I had to break-in on my own house.

As for the case, in all of my incidents, to be frank, I had never picked or even attempted to retrieve any of my belongings. I am never ready to use those things again by the way. No!!! Never!!!

The morale is, the next time, you enter a toilet and drop your belongings into the toilet bowl, one advice..... be calm and do not waste your time......go get a new one. :-)

The P.I.G.S.

Salam...

What do these countries have in common?

Portugal

Italy

Greece

Spain

The answer is these countries are facing a similar economic environment notably a hell of a financial crisis. They are debt-ridden and could possibly becoming bankrupt countries. As a general understanding, these countries spent more than what they had and in order to sustain they borrow but could not pay in the end. Simple as that! 

I got to know from one of my European friend that most Greeks have been living and relying very much on the subsidies but not contributing back to the economy which cost the country billions of dollars! To add salt to the wound, they ain't productive as well and this could dampen the country' growth.

All in all, I am no economist and had never scored better than a C grade in Economics subject when I was in the university back then, but one thing I know for sure, whatever we earn, we should contribute it back into the economy - it is a kind of a give and take thing. Then only, I think we could strike a balance on the economic cycle and this makes sense as to why we have always been obliged to pay tax or zakat so that one economy could grow. 

As for the case, tomorrow will be the last day for all tax payers in Malaysia to declare their income tax. So, go and do whatever you need to do before the dateline. Nothing is gratis in this lucky world by the way! :-)

Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament

Last week I was in California for work and I got the opportunity to experiencing a theme dinner of the medieval age there. It was at a place called the Times Dinner & Tournament which is located in Buena Park. The concept of the place is a kind of a unique combination of a medieval banquet and thrilling competition between medieval knights.

From Kulaifornia to California - The Moments I Captured

Salam...

In this last part, I am sharing a few pictures which I captured while I was there.

...there was a psychological thriller movie named after the road.

...the El Capitan - a theater which shows only Walt Disney pictures.

...it is not the pizza but that "psychic" thing - can be considered as "bomoh" I guess. :-)

...at Santa Monica Pier - We experienced that mind blowing Cirque du Soleil (under that yellow tent). It is a circus with no animals by the way. ;-)

All in all, the trip had been a pleasant one and one of the best experience I had ever had. :-)

As for the case, tomorrow I will be flying again there and this time around it involves work.
