The Jakarta Quest : Episode 2 - KidZania Part 3

Salam...

So in this part let me share with you the professions my kids experienced amongst others.
Before beginning a role play, information on the capacity, duration, suggested age and economy (salary our kids gonna get) is made known to the public.

...my Ilhan a Tax Officer. He was briefed by the mentor what tax is all about.
...my Ilhan worked as something to do with animation and computer graphic.
...my Shahira as a chemist. Immediately after the role play, she said she will design some cure for my smoking habit and part of the ingredient would be weed killer. :-)
...my Shahira as a surgeon and again after the role play she mentioned that she would be more than happy if she could perform a surgery on my lungs. :-)
...my Shahira as a cashier. She said she will charge me ten times the normal price a packet of cigarette if she is to operate a retail shop in future. :-)
There are other professions our kids could explore and experience as well.
Something to do with research and development.
Petrol pump attendant.
Kids may experience as radio broadcasters too.
......cute fire fighters.
As for the case, I hope my kids would realize that there is no shortcut to success and to be successful is all about exploring, experimenting and formulating their life with the inclusion of brain and heart factors in them.

......may the force be with you my Shahira and Ilhan.

See ya...

The Jakarta Quest : Episode 2 - KidZania Part 2

Salam...

Once I entered, I was astonished to see a Peter Pan world put into reality. It was like being in another world - a city owned, handled and governed by kids.
Kids will be given a cheque, bring it to the bank and later a cash card shall be issued before cash withdrawal could be made.
Cash card and cash note are used in their economy.
The only valid currency in their economy is known as Kidzo.
A city of its own.
The city takes care of its citizen's health and emergency too.
......their own square.
In the first instance I thought the trees were real.
What I can say is that the idea of setting up the theme park and put it into reality was actually brilliant. Go there and you will understand me.

As for the case, my Shahira and Ilhan told me that how they now understand the difficulties and the challenges being an adult would be. Hmm... I guess this would help me to justify the plan to purchase the extra rattan cane then. :-)

The Jakarta Quest : Episode 2 - KidZania Part 1

Salam...

One of the agenda in our quest was KidZania Jakarta.
If you are wondering what the heck it is then CLICK HERE.

All in all it is an educational-entertainment center for kids learning to live the adult world simulating real life with a functioning economy. The theme park is located next to the Ritz-Carlton hotel and to be specific it is located on the top floor of the Pacific Place Shopping Mall.
Here is where we pay the entrance fee.
Once the fee is paid, we shall be tagged with a plastic security bracelet...
... and the fun begins. Do not get me wrong as the kids had entered much earlier.
I got to know that KidZania Kuala Lumpur is set to open next year which will be located next to the Curve and Ikea, Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor. It is however that no further information on the commencement of its operation date has been announced or made available. Their website CLICK HERE.

KidZania is simply a unique theme park with its own identity as I could reckon it. It is so different to other theme parks.

As for the case, seeing my kids being adults now makes me wonders of what their future will be. Que sera sera...

See ya in KidZania Part 2...

The Jakarta Quest : Episode 1 - The Journey Begins

Salam...

Early this month, my gang members and I spent our holiday in Jakarta, Indonesia. Our mission was not to visit that Gelora Bung Karno Stadium where our country's football guys defeated them but..... SHOPPING!!! Hell yeah!!!
My gang members in a jovial mood boarding the plane for LCCT.
Strolling the walkway of LCCT after touched down.
Affiliated with my sister's gang members at LCCT before our departure to Jakarta.
The infamous welcome statue of Jakarta and known as the "Hansel and Gretel" to some greeted us.
As for the case, albeit this quest (the quest was actually shopping by the way, remember that :-)) was never our first to this metropolis but the journey this time around was of a better, a more pleasant and a memorable one. Why? I will tell you later. :-)

See ya...
